With the holidays around the corner, it’s time to put those gift cards in the spotlight. You can easily reach of all your customers by sending them a gift card email promotion. All you need is their email addresses to get started.

Login to your merchant dashboard to upload your first email list

Click the Email Addresses tab on the left navigation of your merchant dashboard

Click the blue Add New List button to give your list a title and hit save

Click Edit Recipients to upload your email addresses to the new list

You can upload emails by adding them manually or by uploading an Excel or CSV file. Before uploading the list, clean it up by deleting all of the columns except the email addresses column and any title rows. Your file should look like this screenshot below before uploading (email addresses have been blurred to protect privacy):

Please check if you completed your business settings in this section before you start selling your gift cards. Add your business information, contact information, and how you would like to get paid, whether it’s to your bank account or your PayPal account, your choice.

You can also decide whether you want to pay the service fee or if you want your customers to pay the fee during checkout in the Payouts tab as well. Not every business model is the same, so we let you decide who gets it for free. You can also change your password and check your billing in this section.

Email Lists

This is where you upload your customer email list for promotions. You can add your full list and/or create segments to send VIP promotions to your most loyal customers. First you create the list and name it. Then click “Edit Recipients” to upload your customer list by importing an Excel or CSV file. Be sure to clean the list beforehand so it appears correctly per column, i.e. First cardsName, Last Name, Email Address and so on. Recently we presented our free eGift card solution for local businesses at the 49th Stamford Tech Meetup. The meetup took place at the Stamford Innovation Center in downtown Stamford, Connecticut. It was a great night for networking, learning about emerging technologies and startups, and socializing. Every month techies in Fairfield County gather at the Innovation Center for this meetup which always includes a “Hack of the Month” and 3 demos from tech companies in the local area. Out of three presentations that night, we won for best demo!

The presentation started with some background information about the company followed by a demo from the consumer’s end. With only 5 minutes to present and 5 minutes for Q+A, the night flew by very fast!
